My appearance on North Korean TV! Posted by Maximillion Cooper / February 24,2010
It's not everyday you get interviewed on TV in North Korea. If I sound a little knackered its because I hadn't been to sleep for a few days and had just arrived there after a 17 hour flight. BTW - that music rocks!
Puma's Gumball entry? Posted by Maximillion Cooper / February 18,2010
This Puma F1 Car-D is the latest creation from a couple of mates of mine, Ben and Oscar Wilson.
With reference to Puma’s ongoing relationship with motorsport, including being a official sponsor of the Gumball 3000 – their brief was to build a Formula 1 car from Puma shoe-boxes for installation in their new store at North State Street, Chicago.
I know Puma are looking for cars to use on this years rally at the moment...
But I'm not sure this is the answer!
Check out some more of the Wilson Brothers genius on their website.
The MOST Famous Jaguar XJ220S is up for sale! Posted by Maximillion Cooper / February 12,2010
The time has come to give my cherished Supercar a new home....as part of my new decade Spring clean I've decided to sell the Jaguar and I may even offer a few other rarities over the coming weeks!
There's no doubt about it that this 1993 Jaguar XJ220S must be the most photographed and featured of all the XJ220's ever made. It's been featured in over 600 magazines around the world in the past 3 years...including gracing the covers of several. Here's a picture of it parked pride of place at the start of the 2007 Gumball on Pall Mall in Central London. Music stars Jay 'Jamiroquai' Kay, Tim Westwood and MTV Pimp My Ride legend Xzibit are facing the press perched on the Jag's bonnet!
This could be your chance to get your hands on a REAL supercar for the price of a new Lamborghini Gallardo! Parked next to a Pagani Zonda and Spyker the Jaguar still impresses people the most!
I bought her in 2007 especially to use on the Gumball as it was the ONLY Supercar that we'd never had on the grid. Having now used the car for the past 3 years, she's still only done 11,000 miles and after each time I take her out she gets fully looked after by the only official Jaguar XJ220 workshop...Don Law Jaguar in Stoke on Trent. Don looks after EVERY XJ220!
She's been with me to the Olympic Games in Beijing...and has been displayed at multiple movie premiere's including 'Gone in 60 Seconds', as well as at car shows including the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Salon Prive and Pebble Beach, and gets more attention than Bugatti Veyrons and Ferrari Enzo's for the sheer fact that you NEVER see one of these on the road!
When I bought her she was grey...but I thought she'd look even more stunning in pure Monaco white...so I had XK Engineering respray her!
And she looks INSANE!
She's been looked after as well as any Supercar can be and is absolutely PERFECT in every way...I'm asking £165,000 for her, so if you are interested and have the means then please drop me an email mcooper@gumball3000.com with any questions or to arrange to see her. Remember, this version was over $600,000 when she was released in the mid 90's!
If you're not familiar with the specifications of the Jaguar XJ220S there are plenty of features on the car all over the internet. This is Jeremy Clarkson testing a basic model...and amazingly he actually likes it! My one is even more unique being one of the 6 carbon fibre race spec cars made for the road. It has every extra that you can imagine including 650 BHP.... So if you were thinking of getting a new Gallardo or Ferrari then how about something a whole lot more special...this is a piece of motoring HISTORY that would be a major car in any collection!
I thought we had all the time in the world... Posted by Maximillion Cooper / January 25,2010
